• All descriptions refer to the filter's effect when used with black and white film.
• Color - Light Yellow - Filter 3 -Description - Partially corrects for excess blue in aerial photography - Approximate Exposure Increase - none
• Color - Yellow - Filter 8 - Description - Darkens sky, cloud and foliage to reproduce correct tones. - Approximate Exposure Increase - +1/3.
• Color - Yellowish/Green - Filter 11 - Description - Used to alter the response of panchromatic emulsions to be equivalent to the natural response of the eye to objects under tungsten illumination.
• Color -Greens are reproduced slightly lighter in daylight. - Approximate Exposure Increase -   +11/3.
• Color - Deep Yellow - Filter 12 - Description - Minus blue filter. Can be used to cancel blue light when infrared-sensitive films are exposed penetration of haze during aerial photography. - Approximate Exposure Increase - +1/3.
• Color - Deep Yellow - Filter 15 -Description - Increases contrast between cloud and sky greater than No. 8, for over-correction effect. Also used for copying documents on yellowed - Approximate Exposure Increase - +2/3.
• Color - Yellow Orange - Filter 16 -Description - Gives even greater over-correction than No. 15. Absorbs a small amount often. - Approximate Exposure Increase - +2/3.
• Color - Orange - Filter 21 - Description - Contrast filter. Absorbs blue and blue/green. - Approximate Exposure Increase - +1.
•Color - Light Red - Filter 23A - Description - Greater contrast effect than No. 21. - Approximate Exposure Increase - +2.
